About faculty

First: Creation

Faculty has established by Republican Decree No. 419 year of 1995 and has begun the study in faculty in the academic year 1997/1998

Second: scientific Degree

At the request of the Faculty, Minia University shall grant the following scientific degrees
• Bachelor degree in Tourism and Hotels from one of the following departments:

1-Tourism Studies - Hotel Studies - Tourist Guidance
2-Master's Degree in Tourism Studies, Hotel Studies or Tourism Guidance

3- PhD degree in tourism studies, hotel studies or tourism guidance

Third: The duration of the study       

Four years to have a bachelor's degree

Fourth: The language of the study
Arabic language, and English language for some courses of the tourist guidance department.

Sixth: A program in open education

A program in open education has established by Ministerial decree No. 3274 of 2006 under the title "Tourism Research and Market Study" The bachelor's degree has granted according to this system from Minia University On a faculty proposal
